Bluefront Pond is a beautiful lake in the Sacramento Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The Crest Trail is a good hiking trail near Bluefront Pond, and Big Bear Canyon is around here, and is a brilliant place. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Bluefront Pond. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. During the winter highs are usually in the 50's; overnight lows       in the 20's for Bluefront Pond. Some close by water includes Bear Creek; Bluefront Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Skyline Campground I is a great local campground. What a place this is for outdoors people. On a pleasant day at Bluefront Pond you can take a hike along the Bluefront Trail; dry warm beds await you at Hotel Ruidoso. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sacramento                  Mountains. You're almost certainly interested in lakes, Blue Hole Pond is one of those nearby; if you need a spot to stay Swiss Chalet Inn is a glorious choice. Bluefront Pond gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lakes are glorious; Bonito Lake is a lake that's right next door to Bluefront Pond, and nearby you stumble on the North Eagle Trail which is a great hiking trail. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is abundant here in the Sacramento Mountains. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Apache.
