There's so much to do here at Blue Hole Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Monjeau Campground is a great place for that. Be careful coming to the Sacramento Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Lakes? Sure, Bonito Lake is nearby, and there's some flowing water close by, Bonito Creek is a stream you can check out while you're here. This lake is so wonderful.       Hiking is a popular thing to do around Blue Hole Pond; Wet Mills Trail is a perfect local trail, and the panorama of stunning Monjeau Peak is great. Yeah, come up here to the Sacramento Mountains for a delightful time. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Apache if you're here, and there's great hiking along the North Eagle Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A short spree to Fox Spring is always worthwhile; don't leave Blue Hole Pond                  without first going for a hike along the Crest Trail. So many enjoyable things near Blue Hole Pond, simply mind-boggling. Bluefront Pond is a wonderful lake in the vicinity of Blue Hole Pond, and why not have a look at Bonito Dam since you're here. It is very dry here at Blue Hole Pond frequently; most of the rain falls all through August; April meanwhile is the driest month. If you came to camp Skyline Campground II is a pleasant place to do that, and if you need a location to stay Hotel Ruidoso is a tremendous choice. A good close by hotel is Swiss Chalet Inn, and a delightful site nearby is Anan Canyon. High temperatures at Blue Hole Pond through the summer months are in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Blue Hole Pond.
