Blue Hole gets very little precipitation; during July this area sees the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. Tucumcari-Days Inn is a good place to get some rest; Blue Hole is a delightful location to visit for more than one day, Empty Saddle RV Park is a delightful location to camp nearby. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Blue Hole temperatures are usually in the 90's. Through       the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's; nighttime lows at Blue Hole all through the wintertime ordinarily sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant close by hotel is Microtel Inn Tucumcari, and some nearby water includes Bluewater Creek.
