    In New Mexico there are many beautiful lakes, Black Lake is one of them. During the warm days of summer here at Black Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Black Lake. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do close to Black Lake. It is very dehydrated here at Black Lake  
   typically; through August this area sees the most rain while June is commonly the driest month.
Green Meadows is a brilliant spot here at Black Lake; lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Little White Cone Lake. Black Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Bowl Lake Campground is a great local campground, and Sage Lake is a great lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Crystal Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at, and
 
               after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Navajo Nation Capital is a glorious spot to spend a night or two.
Just can't get enough of the Chuska Mountains. A tour to Black Salt Spring will fill your soul with good feelings, and a delightful spot to camp here at Black Lake is South Shore Campground. Black Lake is located in the Chuska Mountains.

Nice little lake to fish, a bit weedy for a kayak, but can be done. Very quiet and alot of solitude on weekdays. Rumors of bigfoot abound, but haven't seen one yet....
