This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Bowl Lake Campground is always a splendid experience, and if you need a location to stay Quality Inn Navajo Nation Capital is a wonderful choice. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Black Salt Spring, and Crystal Creek is close to Black Lake and is always a delight to stop by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Black Lake. Black Lake       gets very little rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Chuska Mountains. A pleasant place to camp here at Black Lake is South Shore Campground, and if you get bored of Black Lake you could also check out nearby Sage Lake. Black Lake is located in the Chuska Mountains. All through the summer months at Black Lake temperatures are                  usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Black Lake.
