High temperatures at Black Lake all through the long summer days are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. Black Lake gets very little rain; the month of August is the wettest with                  most of the rain, and the driest of the months is June. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do next to Black Lake. Black Lake is not far at all from Gallup. This lake is so wonderful. Interesting geology is available here; Lookout Mountain Rim is in the vicinity of Black Lake; you can stay the night at El Morro RV Park.
