Angel Fire Resort is a brilliant spot to get some rest; why not camp at Sierra Bonita Cabins and RV Park while you're here at Beaver Ponds. If only every location had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. Looking for a great journey? Fort Union National Monument is reasonably close to Beaver       Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Ponds is not the only spot close by, Bear Lake is a close by lake, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. Through the warmest time of the year here at Beaver Ponds, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's; the night is somewhat chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows in the-10's for                  Beaver Ponds. Camping is available at Cathedral Rock Campground, and the view of Aspen Hill is beautiful. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Santa Fe Trail, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Angel Fire.
