Beaver Lake is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If you need a location to stay Best Western River's Edge is a nice choice, and skiing at Ski Rio is one of those things you just should do. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous site to camp here at Beaver Lake is Mallette Campground, and a lake nearby is Seven Lakes. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's       at Beaver Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Beaver Lake plunge into the-10's. Long Canyon is near Beaver Lake and is a great place, and delightful skiing awaits you at Red River. Man, is there lots of enjoyable things to do next to Beaver Lake. A magnificent close by hotel is Econo Lodge Eagle Nest. Beaver Lake is                  generally a pretty dried up location; during August this area sees the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. That right there is a lot of cool things already but it goes on, the Sangre De Cristo Mountains has it all.
