Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Beaver Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's, and night lows at Beaver Lake during the winter mostly drop into the-10's. Hiking along the Bernal Trail is perfect fun; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Twin Lakes.       Around Beaver Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. So many entertaining things to do here at Beaver Lake, too good to be true. A brilliant nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Eagle Nest. Beaver Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If you need a place to stay Best Western River's Edge is a delightful choice; you could always look at Long Canyon.                  This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, McCrystal Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground, and skiing at Ski Rio is one of those things you just ought to do. And that's not all you can do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
