Opal Lake
12 miles away
I was raised near this lake and when a child we had to pack horses into this lake. It is not near any campgrounds, and it's over 25 miles to town, not 18. It gets way colder than 0 in the winter but the views are almost correct.  It IS beautiful!...

Navajo River
15 miles away
Would anyone there know the overall, source-to-mouth length of the Navajo River? I am compiling a reference book of world rivers. Thank you. SCRIVENERLLM@YAHOO.COM ...

Trujillo Meadows Campground
19 miles away
In the 16 years that I have lived in the area, there has never been white water ( for rafting, canoeing, kayaking etc. I presume) in the Brazos. I think you are referring to the Chama River which starts in the Colorado San Juans and flows through New Mexico into the Rio Grande in Espanola ,NM. Plenty of white water there in the spring time....You seem to have missed letting people know about the great trout fishing at Trujillo Meadows. I have never been there that I haven't hooked a big one....

Wolf Creek
29 miles away
Wolf Creek is renowned for light, fluffy powder that comes in epic portions. In addition to a variety of traditionally maintained beginner and intermediate terrain, Wolf Creek offers an exceptional back-country feel with 1,000 acres of advanced and expert terrain serviced by the Alberta lift, including the breathtaking Knife Ridge, the challenging Waterfall Area, and Alberta Peak, the pinnacle of Wolf Creek Ski Area, all of which exists largely in its natural state.....After a snow-filled December, Wolf Creek Ski Area has surpassed the 200-inch mark, making it the ski resort with the Most Snow in the Nation! With sun-filled days and not another storm coming in for at least a week, this is the best time to discover why boarders and skiers alike have coveted the deep powder and incredible natural snow in Southwest Colorado....

Bandelier National Monument
