This is a nice neighborhood for people who like lakes. Lake Doris is a lake in the neighborhood, and Best Western Rivers Edge is a good spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is pleasant here at Beatty Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Lost Lake Trail, and McCrystal Creek Campground is a good campground nearby. Beatty Lakes       is generally a quite arid place; all through August this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Beatty Lakes is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Golden Eagle RV Park is a perfect place to camp nearby, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is a delightful choice. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Through the summer months at                  Beatty Lakes temperatures are generally in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's.
