Beautiful Bear Lake has much to offer visitors. For the duration of the summer months here at Bear Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Bear Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Latir Lakes is a lake in the neighborhood, and if you need a site to stay Best Western River's Edge is a brilliant choice. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Bear Lake has it all. things in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If the weather is nice here at Bear Lake, you can go for a hike along the Number 3 Lift Trail, and the top of Baldy Mountain is easily spotted from Bear Lake. Bear Lake is a location that
is reasonably dried up frequently; all through August this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful spot to camp here at Bear Lake is River Ranch, and a glorious nearby
hotel is Econo Lodge Eagle Nest. Nearby lakes? Sure, Heart Lake is near Bear Lake; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Twining Blue Lake Trail. Camping is available at Red River RV Park. This lake is so wonderful.
The Lost Lake Trail is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Bear Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rio Grande. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Ski Rio, and some of the water nearby flows, like Rito Claro.
