  18 feet of great snow fall every season on the 58 slopes of Red River. This close by ski resort has an elevation difference of 1,600 feet and has 7 lifts. 70% of the slopes at Red River are green and blue. Of the 290 acres of skiing land 30% is tough; there's something for everybody at Red River. Bear Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Bear Lake is delightful enough to spend more than
    a day at, River Ranch is a delightful local campground. This is a popular place for folks from Cerro; you can spot Baldy Mountain from Bear Lake.
