A visit to Bear Lake is always a good idea. There's so much to do here at Bear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Twining Campground is a brilliant place for that, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Red River. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the area right next door to Bear Lake has to offer. Lake Fork Peak is trouble-free to spot from Bear Lake, and going for a hike along the Burnt Ridge Trail will let you absorb

at Best Western River's Edge. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. A day on the slopes of Taos is just what you need, and you're sure to come across some friendly folks from Taos here. And
that's not all you can do here at Bear Lake. Bear Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. A lake close by is Williams Lake; hiking along the Lost Lake Trail is good fun.
