Yeah, come here to Bear Lake for a great time. This lake is so wonderful. Rio Grande has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Taos. Twining Campground is a magnificent campground nearby; splendid skiing awaits you at Red River. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.       On a pretty day you acquire a view of Lake Fork Peak from Bear Lake, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Taos. Near Bear Lake you come across tremendous locations like Martinez Canyon; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Lost Lake Trail. So much exciting stuff to do here at Bear Lake, too splendid to be true. If you get bored of Bear Lake, you could also take a look at close by Waterbird Lake, and Sagebrush Inn is                  a glorious spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Twining Blue Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Red River.
