Bass Lake is pretty dehydrated frequently; August is when you get the most rain here; June on the other hand is the driest. Bass Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Chaparral Mobile Inn is a fine local campground, and don't leave Bass Lake without first paying a visit to Sheep Spring. During the summertime highs here at Bass Lake reach the 80's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, mostly in the       50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Bass Lake. A great nearby hotel is La Quinta Inn & Suites Gallup, and of course Figuredo Wash flows through this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Red Rock Inn is a glorious location to get some rest; if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Gallup.
