Bancos Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is August; June meanwhile is the driest month. There's no way someone can get bored here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Bancos Lake highs are mostly in the 80's while overnight                  lows are regularly in the 40's.
