Latir Lakes
 | 28 years ago as a 16 year/old Eagle Scout I was introduced to Latir. The pristine, grandure and soulful solitude of the Latir inspired me greatly. Last year I finally returned to Latir with my wife and 4 daughters. We found greatfully NOTHING had changed!!!! We spent 6 days exploring, fishing, and bonding. One entire afternoon was spent at Lake #7 shouting echoes to each other. Skip the plastic commericial touristy stuff...go to Latir!!!!... |

Taos blends its high elevation and arid desert climate to provide skiers with the perfect conditions; light dry snow and bright sunshine. From the
famed steeps to gentle bowls, Taos' terrain appeals to the super-expert and the beginner alike. With a peak elevation of 11,819 feet, a base of 9,207 feet and 1,294 acres of ski trails, Taos offers varied and challenging terrain to delight skiers of all abilities.
