This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Petroglyph National Monument is a national park worth going to, and lots of people from Albuquerque come here. At Laguna de las Bacas through the summer months highs are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows at Laguna       de las Bacas throughout the winter usually sink into the 0's. A splendid close by hotel is Rio Rancho-Days Inn, and Laguna de las Bacas is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Stagecoach Stop is a wonderful local campground. Around Laguna de las Bacas you don’t get a lot of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is May. Camping at The StageCoach Stop Resort RV Park is always a fine experience; if you need a                  place to stay Comfort Inn Rio Rancho is a pleasant choice. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Jemez River, and fine skiing awaits you at Sandia Peak.
