     New Mexico has many beautiful lakes and Atole Pond is one of them. Through the summertime, highs regularly are in the 80's at Atole Pond. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Atole Pond through the wintertime ordinarily fall into the 0's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Navajo River, and from Atole Pond you obtain a great vista of Dulce Mountain. Blanco  
   River Campground is a fine campground here, and you can go for a hike on the Leche Creek Trail.
Atole Pond gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is June. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. Lower Mundo Dam is a beautiful place in the vicinity of Atole Pond. These mountains rock, just explore all
 
               the entertaining things to do in the San Juan Mountains. There are glorious locations to discover along the Blanco River Trail; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Jicarilla Inn.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Buzzard Park Campground; Tribes Chjicarilla is a splendid site to get some rest. Atole Pond is one of the lakes here in the San Juan Mountains.
