Ambrosia Lake is pretty waterless usually; the month with most of the rain is August, and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Grants here, and Hijinio Draw is a tremendous location to spend some time. That right there is a heap of exciting things already but it goes on, the Zuni Mountains has it all. After a long day outdoors Best Western       Inn & Suites is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Ambrosia Lake has to offer, you can camp at Grants/Cibola SANDS KOA. El Malpais National Monument is a good national park, and Ambrosia Lake is a tremendous spot to visit for more than one day, Blue Spruce RV Park is a tremendous spot to camp nearby. Just can't get enough of Ambrosia Lake. Loma de la Gloria is a peak you can see from Ambrosia Lake, and                  probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Laguna del Monte is just a very short distance away. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Zuni Mountains. Days Inn Grants is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and needless to say, this is a pleasant area for folks who like lakes, Grandmas Swimming Pool is a lake in the vicinity. Through the summertime, highs typically are in the 80's at Ambrosia Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
