This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like La Canada del Carro, and why not camp at Upper La Junta Campground since you're here at Amador Lake. At Amador Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; nighttime       lows in the 10's for Amador Lake. Amador Lake is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Amador Lake; Santa Fe Trail is a magnificent local trail, and picturesque scenery and good skiing is what you get at Angel Fire. It is very dried out here at Amador Lake typically; July is the month that gets the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things                  the area near Amador Lake has to offer. Angel Fire Resort is a splendid spot to get some rest. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Gascon Trail, and you acquire a brilliant view of El Cerro Colorado from here.
