Beautiful Alto Reservoir has much to offer visitors. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be. Swiss Chalet Inn is a brilliant location to get some rest; if you came to camp Recreation Village RV and Mobile Home Park is a tremendous place to do that. Not much rain falls here at Alto Reservoir; the month with most of the rain is August, and April is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Alto Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Sacramento Mountains. Coal Mine Canyon is a good place to spend some time at; don't leave Alto Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Dry Mills Trail. There's good hiking along the Wet Mills Trail; High Mesa is a peak you can spot from Alto Reservoir.
For the period of the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 90's at Alto Reservoir. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. Highs through | |

the wintertime are frequently in the 50's, and night lows at Alto Reservoir through the winter generally sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Ski Apache; lakes are such peaceful spots, why
not visit Ruidoso Reservoir. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Sacramento Mountains, too great to be true. Good hiking is available along the Cedar Creek Trail; after a long day outdoors The Lodge at Sierra Blanca is a pleasant
location to spend a night or two.
All year is a tremendous time in the Sacramento Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Very magnificent water scenery is available at Alto Lake Dam near Alto Reservoir. There's so much
to do here at Alto Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Elk Run Cabins and RV Park is a good spot for that.
