     Alkali Lakes is a nice lake to visit. Stay the night at Pine Spring Campground; going for a hike along the Kincaid Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. On a good day at Alkali Lakes you can take a hike along the Marcus Trail. Looking for a magnificent tour? Guadalupe Mountains National Park is quite near Alkali Lakes; if you're here you can take a hike along the Bush Mountain Trail.
Through the summertime
 
   months at Alkali Lakes highs are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and night lows through the winter for Alkali Lakes tend to be in the 20's. It is very dehydrated here at Alkali Lakes commonly; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is March.
