If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If you came to camp Pendaries RV Resort is a pleasant spot to do that, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the West Fork Angostura Trail. Lakes are great; Morphy Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Laguna de Agua, and an exciting thing to go to close to Laguna de Agua is Morphy Dam. Laguna       de Agua is usually a reasonably dried up place; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Laguna de Agua is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Trails End RV Park is a nice local campground, and Sipapu Ski is a great local ski area. High temperatures at Laguna de Agua during the months of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Through                  the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Laguna de Agua dip into the 0's. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If the weather is nice here at Laguna de Agua, you can go for a hike along the Gascon Trail. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. If you need a location to stay Las Vegas Super 8 Motel is a perfect choice, and the Divide Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
