If you are in this part of New Mexico make sure to pay a visit to Laguna de Agua. There's always Morphy Dam to check out in the vicinity of Laguna de Agua, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Divide Trail. It is very dried up here at Laguna de Agua frequently; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Throughout the warm days of summer at Laguna de Agua highs are mostly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Laguna de Agua. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable | |

Having a great time
in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains is easy. Dry warm beds await you at Star Hill Inn. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Laguna de Agua that you need to camp here for a while, Pendaries RV Resort is a great site
for that, and the West Fork Angostura Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. Morphy Lake is a splendid lake near Laguna de Agua, and Laguna de Agua is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Duran Canyon Campground is a pleasant local campground.
