choice. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. There is a brilliant hiking trail in close proximity to Agua Fria Lake called the Burnt Ridge Trail, and you can stay the night at Monte Verde
RV Park. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, not enough time. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Angel Fire, and a tour to Fort Union National Monument is worthwhile. This
lake is so wonderful. A perfect close by hotel is Econo Lodge Eagle Nest; a pleasant trip to Wild Horse Park is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. During the summer here at Agua Fria Lake, high temperatures frequently reach
the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's; nighttime lows through the wintertime for Agua Fria Lake tend to be in the-10's.
