This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo Mountains. At Adams Lake during the summer months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 30's while Adams Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Eagle Nest. Adams Lake gets very little       rain; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is January. Bartlett Lake is a good lake right next door to Adams Lake; camping at Monument Lake Resort is always a wonderful experience. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, too wonderful to be true.
