Adams Lake is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. It is very dried up here at Adams Lake ordinarily; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Adams Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, McCrystal Creek Campground is a fine local campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bernal Trail.       Through the days of summer here at Adams Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Adams Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
