The slopes of Sterling Forest are so inviting noone can resist; it's a magnificent idea to pop by Deep Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something near Ziegler Pond? Bunker Pond is nearby, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Cannonball Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious location to camp here at Ziegler Pond is Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds; get your heart beating on the delightful       whitewater of Ramapo River. But wait, there's more to do close to Ziegler Pond. At Ziegler Pond all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Ziegler Pond dip into the 10's. Gotta ski! Mt. Peter is a glorious spot to do that, and you're sure to run into some great people from New York-Newark-Edison                  here.
