This is a glorious vicinity for folks who like lakes. Catfish Pond is a lake around here, and Fernwood Hotel and Resort is a wonderful place to get some rest. A large amount of rainfall falls at Youngs Pond; most of the rain falls during May; the driest of the months is February. A perfect place to camp here at Youngs Pond is Walpack Valley Campground, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Kinney       Trail. Everybody close by loves skiing at Alpine Mountain. Youngs Pond is right by the Bald Barren Trail, and paddling on Bush Kill Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Delaware National Scenic River is a very tremendous place to have a look at near Youngs Pond, and do take a hike on the Flat Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Shawnee Mountain is tremendous, and get dripping wet paddling on Pequest River. Yeah, come here to                  Youngs Pond for a glorious time. Camping at Appalacian Mountain Club is always a wonderful experience. Lakes are perfect; Lake Genevieve is a lake that's next to Youngs Pond. Youngs Pond Dam is worth a visit while you're here; after a long day outdoors Value Inn East Stroudsburg is a great place to spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Youngs Pond; the night is fairly chillier of course, generally in the 50's.
