Many people like to go to Wyckoff Lake. Sterling Forest is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and you can go for a hike on the Conklins Crossing. Good hiking is available along the Kakiat Trail; why not head up to Mt. Peter and strap some skis to your feet. For the period of the warm months at Wyckoff Lake highs are generally in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and after the sun is down all

| | through the winter temperatures at Wyckoff Lake fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at National Camp Assn; going for a hike on the Cannonball Trail is always a great adventure. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River, and if you get bored of Wyckoff Lake you could also pop by nearby Mirror Lake. then a magnificent close by course is Apple Ridge Country Club, and after a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from New York-Newark-Edison
here, and a splendid nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express RAMSEY-MAHWAH. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Wyckoff Lake. Ramapo River is a perfect whitewater spot in close proximity to Wyckoff Lake, and Wyckoff Lake is not the
only spot close by, Canns Lake is a close by lake. Wyckoff Lake is a wet location that gets a great deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand
is the driest. Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a great campground nearby, and why not a little side tour to Allendale Brook.
