Custom Search     Lake Worth     My family spent many wonderful days at Lake Worth in the 50's and 60's. Some of my happiest childhood memories are there. There was a slide in the water and a diving board area. Dads would string plastic tarps from the trees when it rained. I remember the family in the house on the property. They had a little girl named ''Peaches''. I loved it there. Says Maryann Finkel Growing up in Somerdale, Lae Worth was the place for us kids to learn to swim. In     the summer, school busses would pick us up on August mornings at the Somerdale School, drive us to the lake where we had professional teachers and then back again before lunch. My parents were friends with the people that owned it or took care of it (not quite sure what thier story was), but they had a house right there on the property.
