Woodland Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. at Woodland Lake; a picturesque lake like Valley Lake is a pleasant spot to stop at. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Looking for some flowing water? Try Pequannock River, and if you came to camp Rein Teen Tours is a good location
to do that. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rockaway River, and Pompton Lake is a perfect lake nearby. Woodland Lake is perfect enough
to spend more than a day at, Camp Ocawasin Lodge is a perfect local campground, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Sterling Forest. Pequannock River is a good whitewater spot close to Woodland Lake,
and do take a hike on the Cannonball Trail. Head up to Mt. Peter and strap some skis to your feet, and going for a hike along the Pine Meadow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Woodland Lake is a wet
site that gets a good deal of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Have a good hiking adventure along the Kakiat Trail.
