Blue Heron Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and Sun Air Lakeside Camp is a brilliant campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Winona, you could also explore striking Laidlaws Pond, and get dripping wet paddling on India Brook. You don’t have to go far from Lake Winona to spot the water at Blue Heron Lake Dam, and why not go to nearby Beaver Brook while you're here at Lake       Winona. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Picatinny Golf Club is a good way to kill some time; the snow is good at Hidden Valley. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. If you need a site to stay Hilton Garden Inn Rockaway is a splendid choice, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mountain Creek. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Lake Winona get into the 80's. Summer                  overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Lake Winona overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott Mount Arlington, and Columbia Valley Campground is a good local campground. Lake Winona gets much water; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.
