Willever Lake is a nice lake to visit. The skiing at Shawnee Mountain is great, and the scenery at Willever Lake Dam is lovely. Willever Lake is not the only location close by, Lake Just-It is a close by lake; why not camp at Camp Bernie-YMCA if you're here at Willever Lake.
A tremendous place for whitewater paddling close to Willever Lake is Raritan River - South Branch, and a lake nearby is Mountain Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Hackettstown,

This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Pequest River, and if you came for an overnight stay Triple Brook Camping Resort is a good spot to camp.
