National Scenic River is a nice national park. The warmest time of the year at Willever Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's
with temperatures at Willever Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. All the water falling down from the sky makes Willever Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is May while February is ordinarily the
driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Camp Bernie-YMCA if you're here at Willever Lake, and you can run the rapids of Pequest River.

Camp Bernie is able to provide a traditional co-ed Overnight Camp Experience during the summer. Our sessions last for 13 days, and serve children from grades 2 through 10. In addition, we provide 9 weeks of Adventure Day Camp for the local communities, each session lasting from Monday through Friday.
We also offer year round programming consisting of Outdoor Education for school groups, and Group and Family Camping as well.
