All through       the warm days of summer here at Whites Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's, and the nighttime is a little chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows at Whites Lake through the winter frequently descend into the 10's. Having a delightful time at Whites Lake is easy. Get covered with water paddling on Pequannock River; an afternoon playing golf at Apple Ridge Country                  Club is always a bliss. So much exciting stuff near Whites Lake, truly remarkable. This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the Conklins Crossing, and a lake close by is Coles Pond. Good hiking is available along the Cannonball Trail, and don't forget to take a good little visit to Allendale Brook. Paddling on Ramapo River is so much fun, and Mt. Peter has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. Whites Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a fine local campground, needless to say you could also visit San Jacinto Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
