You'll need more than a day to look at everything White Rock Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camp Nyoda. If you need a site to stay Hampton Inn DenvilleParsippany Are is a great choice, and playing golf is lots of fun at Bowling Green Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rockaway Hotel, and skiing at Hidden Valley is one of those       things you just ought to do. At White Rock Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at White Rock Lake drop into the 10's. Visit Russia Brook since you're here at White Rock Lake, and Pequannock River is a great whitewater spot nearby. White Rock Lake gets lots of water; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
