White Meadow Lake Dam is not far at all from White Meadow Lake; let's not forget Beaver Brook which is a stream that you may encounter while here. There's whitewater on India Brook for all you adrenaline junkies, and you can hit the slopes at Mountain Creek close at hand. At White Meadow Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. All through the dark hours       of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at White Meadow Lake. White Meadow Lake gets a large amount of water; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You get a nice panorama of Snake Hill from White Meadow Lake; camping is available at Camp Nyoda. And that's not all you                  can do here at White Meadow Lake. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Rockaway River, and Peace Pipe Country Club is a wonderful golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. A great location to camp here at White Meadow Lake is Sun Air Lakeside Camp, and Foxs Pond is a tremendous lake nearby. Hampton Inn Rockaway-I 80 (Parsippany Area) is a tremendous place to get some rest, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Hidden Valley.
