Taking a little visit to nearby North Cape is a perfect idea, and Weyble Pond is not the only site nearby, Gatun Pond is a nearby lake. The peaks of the Ramapo Mountains dominate the scenery of this area; while you're here you can take a hike along the Pine Meadow Trail. Weyble       Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; all through November this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Weyble Pond. Bald Mountain is charming and can be made out from Weyble Pond, and you'll in all probability meet some folks from New York-Newark-Edison here. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Bear Swamp is right close                  by; if you're here at Weyble Pond it's a great idea to have a look at The Bowl. All through the summer at Weyble Pond highs are usually in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Weyble Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. There's so much to do here at Weyble Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a great site for that; Sheraton Mahwah Hotel is a good location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mt. Peter is in close proximity to Weyble Pond. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Pequannock River, and hiking along the Cannonball Trail is tremendous fun. This lake is so wonderful. An interesting thing to go to close to Weyble Pond is Bear Swamp Lake Dam, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ramapo River.
