Wawayanda Lake regularly gets much rain; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most while February is typically the driest month. Any time is a perfect time at Wawayanda Lake if you fancy the outdoors. Dry       warm beds await you at Mineral Resorts And Spa, and Delaware National Scenic River is a very pleasant place to go to. Enjoy a round of golf at Spa Executive Nine Golf Course not far from Wawayanda Lake, and you can run the rapids of Pequannock River. This lake is so wonderful. Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Mountain Creek, and Rockaway River is a glorious whitewater spot close by. For the duration of the days of summer here at Wawayanda Lake, high temperatures                  frequently get into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Wawayanda Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a wonderful local campground; you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Hidden Valley. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Wawayanda Lake. There is a brilliant hiking trail close to Wawayanda Lake called the Pine Meadow Trail, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Cannonball Trail. Wawayanda Lake Dam is a site that is in the vicinity of Wawayanda Lake; on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Kakiat Trail.
