A golf course in the vicinity of Waterloo Lakes is Lake Lackawanna Golf Course, and good water scenery is available at Jefferson Lake Dam near Waterloo Lakes. The high level of rainfall makes Waterloo Lakes a relatively wet place; during the month of August you                  get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
