at East Branch Reservoir Dam is stunning. For the period of the summer months here at Washington Valley Reservoir, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime
the highs are frequently in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Washington Valley Reservoir temperatures fall to the 10's.

Somerville Area. Hi-Hills Camp is a great local campground, and Spooky Brook Golf Course is a tremendous golf course nearby. A good site for whitewater paddling close to Washington Valley Reservoir is Raritan River - North Branch, and East Branch Middle Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at.
