Verona Lake is a nice lake to visit. All the outdoors entertaining stuff near Verona Lake will keep you coming back time and again. This lake is so wonderful. Wilshire Grand Hotel is a wonderful site to get some rest, and pleasant hiking is available along the Cannonball Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Verona Lake; Kakiat Trail is a great local trail; at Verona Lake you always meet someone from New York-Newark-Edison.

The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Verona Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are fine; Crystal Lake is a lake that's next to Verona Lake; get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Rockaway River. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Gateway National Recreation Area is a delightful place in close proximity to Verona Lake, and Verona Lake Dam is not far at all from Verona Lake.
Camping at Camp Horizons is always a great experience, and a round of golf at nearby
Essex County Francis A Byrne Golf Course is a wonderful way to kill some time. Skiing at Sterling Forest is one of those things you just should do; Stony Hill is clearly visible from Verona Lake. Not far from Verona Lake, you'll hit
upon Cable Lake which is a picturesque lake, and a great nearby hotel is Residence Inn By Marriott West Orange.
Verona Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; during May this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the
driest. A tremendous place to camp here at Verona Lake is Rein Teen Tours, and a brilliant place for whitewater paddling is Pequannock River.
