So many entertaining things to do here at Vernon Valley Lake, too perfect to be true. Denton Clark Estate Dam is a charming place in the vicinity of Vernon Valley Lake, and lakes are such serene places, why not stop by Louemma Lake. Mineral Resorts And Spa is a fine spot to get some rest; a brilliant site for whitewater paddling is Clove Brook.       Camping is available at Toye's Recreation, and why not head up to Mountain Creek and strap some skis to your feet. High temperatures at Vernon Valley Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's, and night lows at Vernon Valley Lake during the winter ordinarily plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious spot to camp here at Vernon Valley                  Lake is Tall Timbers Campground, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Hidden Valley. Much rainfall falls at Vernon Valley Lake; throughout May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. Don't leave Vernon Valley Lake without first going for a hike along the Peenpack Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River, and an afternoon playing golf at Spa Executive Nine Golf Course is always a diversion.
