Vernon Valley Lake is right by the Cannonball Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Mountain Creek, and an out                  of the ordinary thing to stop at right next door to Vernon Valley Lake is Denton Clark Estate Dam. There's so much to do here at Vernon Valley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tall Timbers Campground is a fine place for that, and after a long day outdoors Mineral Resorts And Spa is a delightful site to spend a night or two.
