The beauty of Valley Lake attracts many people from all around. Valley Lake is a quite wet place frequently with much precipitation; during the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Rockaway River, obviously you could also explore Adams Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. A lake close by is Packanack Lake; gorgeous scenery

High temperatures at Valley Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Valley Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River. Just can't get enough of Valley Lake. Packanack Mountain is pretty and can be distinguished from Valley Lake, and skiing at Mt. Peter is one of those things you just should do.
While
you're here at Valley Lake you can take a hike along the Cannonball Trail, and after a long day outdoors Regency House Hotel & Suites is a good location to spend a night or two. If you came to camp Rein Teen Tours is a splendid spot
to do that, and there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Pine Meadow Trail. Visit Wissahicken Brook since you're here at Valley Lake, and Valley Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Horizons is a great
local campground.
So much exciting stuff to do at Valley Lake, so little time. On a nice day at Valley Lake you can take a hike along the Kakiat Trail. A glorious nearby hotel is Wellesley Inn Wayne, and why not take a look at Packanack Lake Dam since you're here.
