Get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Rockaway River, and there are great spots to explore along the Kakiat Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody close by loves skiing at Sterling Forest, and camping is available at Camp Horizons. This lake is so wonderful. You're possibly interested in lakes, Toms Lake is one of those close by, and hey, Gotta ski right? Mt. Peter is a pleasant site to do that.       If you fancy the outdoors, you'll like Valley Lake. A good close by hotel is Wellesley Inn Wayne. If you're here at Valley Lake and you like golf, you can explore Packanack Golf Club. Lakes are fine; Packanack Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Valley Lake. Wissahicken Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit, and camping at Rein Teen Tours is always a glorious experience. During the days of summer, highs typically are in                  the 80's at Valley Lake while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Valley Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Pequannock River, and going for a hike on the Cannonball Trail is always a pleasant adventure. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Packanack Lake Dam is not far at all from Valley Lake, and at Valley Lake you can spot Packanack Mountain.
