Beautiful Upper Blauvelt Lake has much to offer visitors. At Upper Blauvelt Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Upper Blauvelt Lake tend to be in the 10's. is a swamp close to Upper Blauvelt Lake; beautiful scenery and good skiing is what you acquire at Mt. Peter.
After a long day outdoors Wellesley Inn Wayne is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and there are some magnificent
whitewater spots on Pequannock River. On a wonderful day you get a sight of Preakness Mountain from Upper Blauvelt Lake, and some nearby water includes Pond Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby
golf course like Packanack Golf Club, and the Kakiat Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
Upper Blauvelt Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest
of the months is February. Gotta ski! Sterling Forest is a good site to do that, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Cannonball Trail.
