Beautiful Sycamore Lake has much to offer visitors. The high level of precipitation makes Sycamore Lake a pretty wet spot; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Philadelphia/Bridgeport. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Sycamore Lake has to offer, you can camp at Four Seasons Camp Grounds. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll love Sycamore Lake.

| | Lakes? Sure, Thundergut Pond is close at hand, and if you're visiting from Vineland-Millville-Bridgeton, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Select Bridgeport-I-295, Nj is a splendid choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Brandywine Creek offers some good whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail Route, you ought to schedule some time | |

Palatine Lake
 | 11 miles away I am 83 yrs of age, and had many outings at Lake Palatine for swimming and picnics. There were times though that we had to pack up nd leave when my parents opened the picnic basket, due to the miserable Yellow Jackets swarmed around us when we started to eat. What a big disappointment THAT was.! So sorry I have NO pictures! How we seven kids enjoyed those outings.I have NEVER forgotten those trips.... |
Malaga Lake
 | 19 miles away Malaga is a great lake for catching fish, however there are alot of stumps which makes it harder for larger boats. Also the vegetation is very bad in mid season so you have to use a weedless setup.... |
Kandle Lake
 | 19 miles away I went to Kandle Lake for the first time this past weekend with my daughters (3 and 5), as guests of another family. We all had a blast. The location was very clean, the lake was full of fun activities, had a sectioned off part for the little kids, two different height diving boards, rope swing, water slide, fountains, etc. We also went in the pool (including the separate kiddie pool). After one visit, I'm planning on buying a membership for next summer, and possibly considering buying a trailer. And this was my first time at a campground!... |
