Suraci Pond is a lake worth visiting. Mt. Peter is a splendid local ski area, and after a long day outdoors Illusions The Sheraton Hotel is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. Suraci Pond is a quite wet place mostly with a great deal of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. | | Lake Brook is a stream you can check out during your stay, and you can run the rapids of Ramapo River.
Don't leave Suraci Pond without first going for a hike along the Kakiat Trail, and if you need a location to stay Lolos Suites & Sundries is a wonderful choice. water scenery and it's next to Suraci Pond, and there are other places here than Suraci Pond, for example Bunker Pond.
Go for a hike on the Cannonball Trail, and Pequannock River is a great whitewater spot close by. The warmest
time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Suraci Pond. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Suraci Pond are in the 10's. What a
spot this is for outdoors folks.
If you came for an overnight stay Camp wabenaki is a nice spot to camp; great hiking is available along the Pine Meadow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Suraci Pond is great fun, Robert Moses is a great local campground; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Sterling Forest is relatively near.
