Sunset Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Sunset Lake is a relatively wet place usually with much rainfall; most of the rain falls during August; the driest month is February. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Sunset Lake get into the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Sunset Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.

Sunset Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Koala-T-Kids is a good place to camp nearby, and delightful water scenery is available at Deal Dam near Sunset Lake. Atlantic Club Camp is a fine campground nearby, and Sunset Lake is not the only site nearby, Wesley Lake is a nearby lake.

I live on this lake, I'm 14 and every summer I have the most wonderful time on floating docks with my friends and waking up and kayaking with my little sister....I remember swiming here when I was young. A big different from the creek under the parkway bridge....I remember back in the 50's I would go past the lake and see kid's swing from a tree on a rope, and then let go and dive in the water. I was so jealous, but I had Cliffwood.... |
