If you like lakes and you're in this part of New Jersey you can check out Sunfish Pond. You don't have to go far from Sunfish Pond to enjoy Worthington State Forest, and nice hiking is available along the Smith Trail. While you're here at Sunfish Pond you will meet lots of people from close by East Stroudsburg, and not far from Sunfish Pond you obtain some fine water scenery at Upper Reservoir Dam. Don't leave Sunfish Pond without first going for a hike along

There's just no way someone can get bored here at Sunfish Pond. Go for a hike on the Bald Barren Trail, and after a long day outdoors Value Inn East Stroudsburg is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. The high level of rainfall makes Sunfish Pond a reasonably wet spot; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest month is February. could also take a look at White Heron Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.
This lake is so wonderful. Delaware water Gap Koa is a fine local campground, and a day on the slopes of Alpine Mountain is just what you need. Throughout
the summertime at Sunfish Pond highs are usually in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Sunfish Pond temperatures
fall to the 10's. For you golfers we recommend nearby Country Club of the Poconos at Big Ridge, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Taylor Campground is a delightful place to camp.
Any time is a nice time at Sunfish Pond
if you like the outdoors. The snow is perfect at Shawnee Mountain; possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lenape Lake is just a very short distance away. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Brodhead Creek,
and don't miss out on a visit to Delaware National Scenic River since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid place to visit in the neighborhood of Sunfish Pond is Woodcock Bar, and Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is a perfect location to get some rest.
