Hiking is a popular thing to do around Sturr Pond; Pine Meadow Trail is a great local trail; you can hit the slopes at Sterling Forest around here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn by Marriott Wayne; getting to Spring Lake Brook from Sturr Pond is trouble-free. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Kakiat Trail; you can run the rapids of Ramapo River.

precipitation. Throughout the summertime highs here at Sturr Pond get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's; nighttime lows through the winter for Sturr Pond tend to be in the 10's.
