Storm Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. All the water falling down from the sky makes Storm Pond a wet place; through July this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Really glorious skiing awaits you at Sterling Forest, and paddling on Ramapo River is so much fun. A great swamp next to Storm Pond is Bear Swamp, and lots of folks from New York-Newark-Edison come here.

| | Storm Pond is a perfect spot to camp, Camp wabenaki is a perfect spot, and great water scenery is available at Woodcliff Lake Dam near Storm Pond. This place, Storm Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors fun stuff. If time allows, Gateway National Recreation Area is a national park worth going to. Hills Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Storm Pond, for example Mill Pond, and nearby you come across the Sherwood Path which is a glorious hiking trail. Summer at Storm Pond arrives with
high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Storm Pond are in the 10's. Hilton Woodcliff Lake is a perfect spot
to get some rest; Bear Brook is close to Storm Pond and is always a joy to go to. Yeah, come here to Storm Pond for a great time. There are glorious sites to discover along the Conklins Crossing, and get soaked paddling on Popolopen
Creek. Going for a hike on the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail is always a perfect adventure, and camping at Storm Pond is great fun, Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds is a great local campground.
