Go to Spring Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Some nearby water includes North Branch Whippany River, and after a long day outdoors Hyatt Morristown is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. For you golfers we recommend nearby Morris County Golf Club, and Sun Air Lakeside Camp is a wonderful campground nearby. Kemble Mountain can be seen from Spring Lake, and Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club is a fine local campground.

| | if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mountain Creek is reasonably near. This lake is so wonderful. There's always Pocahontas Dam to visit near Spring Lake. All through the summertime months at Spring Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Spring Lake tend to be in the 10's.
