Why not stop by Spring Lake if you're passing through these parts. Lots of rainfall falls at Spring Lake; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest month is February. On a great day at Spring Lake you can take a hike along the Cannonball Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Sterling Forest. Inn At Ramsey, and the snow is perfect at Mt. Peter. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Kakiat Trail. Don't
forget to take a great little visit to Spring Lake Brook, and Rambaut Dam is a gorgeous spot, undeniably worth stopping at. Just can't get enough of Spring Lake. Camping is available at Robert Moses, and nearby you locate the Pine Meadow Trail which is a great hiking trail.
