Some of the water nearby flows, like Spring Lake Brook, and after a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Inn - Ramsey is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Hartung Lake near Spring Lake, it's a lovely lake, and don't leave Spring Lake without first going for a hike along the Kakiat Trail. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ramapo River, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff

| | to observe at Rambaut Dam next to Spring Lake. High temperatures at Spring Lake during the warm months are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are frequently in the 30's while Spring Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. a look at, and there are wonderful spots to discover along the Cannonball Trail. Head up to Sterling Forest and strap some skis to your feet; folks from New York-Newark-Edison love to come here. Man, is there loads of entertaining
things to do near Spring Lake. The snow is glorious at Mt. Peter. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Apple Ridge Country Club; glorious hiking is available along the Pine Meadow Trail. A good location
to camp here at Spring Lake is Rein Teen Tours, and whitewater paddling is fine on Pequannock River. Spring Lake is a rather wet place ordinarily with a lot of rainfall; through May this area sees the most rain; the driest month of
the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Spring Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a tremendous local campground; Best Western The Inn At Ramsey is a splendid place to get some rest.
