This lake is so wonderful. A golf course in the vicinity of South Pond is Township of Millburn Golf Course; do stop by North Pond, it's a gorgeous lake. Be careful coming to South Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. There's so much to do here at South Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Bryn Mawr Camp       is a nice location for that, and Canoe Brook Dam is a wonderful location, positively worth a visit. You'll need more than a day to explore everything South Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp Horizons, and close by you hit upon the Cannonball Trail which is a fine hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Bear Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater                  paddling on Rockaway River. Hilton Short Hills is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sterling Forest since you're here. Butler Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Turtle Brook Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. Through the summertime months here at South Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for South Pond tend to be in the 10's.
